Equinox
Building details: The Equinox Hotel New York is the first “Equinox Fitness Club” branded hotel in the United States. It was incorporated into one of the high-rise, mixed-use towers at Hudson Yards. With its focus on serenity and regeneration, the designers wanted to install state-of-the-art environmental controls (temperature, lighting, experience) into each guest room.
Project details: KSW collaborated with the design team and the AC Unit manufacturer to source and install HVAC controls which were incorporated into the main control system. In the guest rooms, KSW furnished and installed four noiseless pipe fan coil units for precise temperature control. We also provided full HVAC systems for the common areas, a kitchen exhaust system for the restaurant, and a smoke and fire controls system for fire safety.
