Project details: Carbon Capture, a system developed by Carbon Quest, uses state of the art technology to extract CO2 from conventional fossil fuel combustion by-products prior to discharge into the atmosphere, preventing potential Co2 emissions. This project is expected to reduce CO2 emissions from natural gas usage in the building by 60-70 percent. The captured CO2 is then liquified and sold for various industrial and manufacturing applications. KSW worked closely with Carbon Quest to tailor their system to accommodate the logistical challenges associated with a typical NYC high rise mechanical infrastructure installation.
